renaistorationEirika is one of the two main characters of the video game Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones along with her twin brother Ephraim. She is the princess of Renais, known for her kind and earnest nature. She takes up arms to fight when her country is invaded by its longtime ally Grado and dark creatures overrun the continent. Eirika's age isn't directly stated, but she's probably around twenty years old. Here is a picture of her!
She is known and respected among the leaders of Magvel for being kind, diplomatic, and peace-oriented, and she detests fighting. That said, she recognizes the need to take up arms when necessary and trained in the sword so that she could do so effectively. She wants to believe that people are good at heart and it's heartbreaking when she sees the cruelties that human beings can perpetuate on each other. But it is also unwise to do these things around her, because that makes her incredibly determined to put a stop to it. She does her best to be polite and respectful to people she meets; it's when she gets close that she allows her less serious side out.
I will be playing her following the "Eirika's Path" game script (well, obviously) so she will remember all recruitable characters as having traveled with her. Generally I will also play her as having achieved A supports with all characters that can support with her, except the ones who have a paired ending. (This is not set in stone so if you're planning to play a supportable castmate, let me know and we can discuss!)
Eirika is a skilled swordswoman and possesses a holy sword named Sieglinde, which is particularly effective against things that can be called "dark creatures." She will also be developing empathic abilities in Anatole--see here for more on that.
